We exist for better days inspired by iconic flavour. It’s been three decades since Allpress set up their first independent coffee cart, buying a second-hand roaster and embarking on a bold entrepreneurial journey fueled by passion and the search for great flavour. Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation. Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.

About the role

Working within a team of 3 BD’s you will drive coffee sales and be a brand ambassador for Allpress within NSW. This role will see you:

  • Actively prospect new businesses by spending 3-4 days on the road per week.

  • Work towards individual and team sales targets; analysing, planning, and tracking performance.

  • Build authentic relationships which convert to lasting partnerships.

  • Share industry knowledge/success stories and help owners achieve their goals

  • Drive business growth while fostering our brand values.

  • Manage sales administration to ensure we make informed decisions, and the Sales team is nationally aligned.

About you

Passionate about coffee and the hospitality industry, you’ll be a genuine and warm people person, great at fostering relationships with our customers and within the Allpress team. With true team spirit, to nail this role you’ll need:

  • Hospitality, coffee, event, or leisure industry experience and knowledge.

  • A proven track record in sales/business development and hitting targets/KPIs, with broad commercial acumen.

  • Good negotiating skills that foster mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • The ability to build trust and rapport with potential customers, bringing with you your network of industry connections.

  • A highly organised self-starter with great time management.

  • Excellent active listening and questioning skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication.
