And the best places are often right in our own backyards.
To celebrate our love for the local legends making our hometowns the places to be, we’re throwing a party with our mates La Marzocco and MILKLAB at one of our favourite getaway spots; Newcastle, AU.
Popping up at Owen’s Collective in Islington, we’re setting up a specialty coffee mecca for our Newy mates, for three days only. From April 16—18, we’re going beyond the usual café pop-up with exclusive coffee cuppings (with our own signature flavours and local guest roasters), cold coffee tastings and a Make Your Own (MYO) pour over bar – if you make it, you get it for free!
The opening party will feature live music with surprise goodie bags for the first fifty people through the doors. You’ll want to bring your barista A-game – giveaways and huge prizes are destined for those who get involved in the latte art throw down, including precision brewers and cash prizes. Local heroes Eat Your Water are also coming to the party with a limited range of merch to celebrate the collaboration and occasion.
We’re also stoked to partner with local booze maestros, Method Brewery, who’ll have their Pale Ales and Hazy IPAs on tap.
Itinerary
Tuesday to Thursday: Free coffee daily 8—10am, MYO pour over coffee and cold coffee tastings
Wednesday: Coffee cupping 2pm
Thursday: Latte Art Throw Down – 4pm—Late
