In a world increasingly aware of environmental challenges, the convergence of great coffee and powerful activism can create remarkable change. For the past 12 years, Allpress Espresso and Greenpeace have exemplified this synergy through their ongoing partnership, and nowhere is their combined energy more evident than at the iconic Glastonbury Festival.
This collaboration not only brings high-quality, ethically-sourced coffee to festival-goers but also fuels important environmental initiatives, making a substantial impact on both the festival scene and global conservation efforts.
Brewing with a Purpose
Our dedication goes beyond just delivering a great cup of coffee; it's about ensuring every step of our process respects both people and the planet.
Greenpeace, an organisation at the forefront of global environmental activism, shares a similar ethos. For over five decades, Greenpeace has fought tirelessly for the protection of our planet, advocating for renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and the preservation of our oceans and forests.
Glastonbury
Glastonbury Festival, known for its vibrant mix of music, arts, and activism, provides the perfect backdrop for our partnership. Amid the music and festivities, the presence of Allpress and Greenpeace adds a unique flavour – one that stimulates both taste buds and minds.
At Glastonbury, Greenpeace hosts our team and in exchange, all profits from our coffee sales at the festivals would go to Greenpeace, providing a boost in funds for the year ahead. Our goal each year is to top the year previously and with an average of 2,000 cups in hand each we certainly achieved this.
A Vision for the Future
As we celebrate our 12th year of partnership, we look forward to continuing to drive positive change on a global scale. By combining the joy of a great cup of coffee with environmental action. Through collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to sustainability, we can brew up a better world – one cup, and one action, at a time.
