Melbourne’s NGV has opened its third triennial, featuring 100 extraordinary projects uniting art, design, and architecture from around the world.
The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is renowned for its commitment to showcasing contemporary art and design. Supporting emerging and local creatives, NGV Triennial 2024 is a powerful and moving snapshot of the world today, as captured through the work of 120 artists, designers, and collectives at the forefront of global contemporary practice.
Running from December 3 to April 7, 2024, the three key thematic pillars are 'Magic, Matter and Memory'. With more than 25 projects commissioned by the NGV exclusively for this event, Triennial reveals how leading and emerging artists and designers from across the globe have responded to the most relevant and critical issues of our time.

You’ll need to move fast to get your hands on the limited-edition packaging though; you’ll find it at NGV’s café spaces, as well as our online store and roastery cafés in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Byron Bay.
The NGV Triennial is on display from December 3 until April 7, 2024, at the NGV International where entry is free.
