Takapuna Beach Café is designed as an escape from reality with a relaxed community feel at its core. James worked at the café long before he became its owner and has since been in the café each morning from 6 am, welcoming the early bird customers through the doors. 

Serving up our Allpress Espresso Blend, the space has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for drinking in the beachside views. Aside from their extensive dine-in menu, their most sought-after treats are the homemade gelato and macarons, all of which are made on-site. Constantly brimming with locals and tourists to the area, the produce on offer in the café is sourced locally, as is the produce found next door that you can pick up from The Store. Here you’ll find gourmet takeaway options and kitchen basics turning Takapuna Beach Café into a one-stop shop. 

With multiple staff working in the team for many years with James, this is a café where people come and stay. With some having worked with Allpress Coffee for over eighteen years, you’ll be in good hands with these baristas next time you’re in town.
